Early Life and Education

Leyla Nuraddin Ramazanli was born on August 30, 1988, in Baku into an intellectual family. She is the granddaughter of the renowned scholar, Doctor of Philosophy, professor, honored scientist, veteran of the Great Patriotic War, and presidential scholarship holder, Farrukh Fatulla Oglu Ramazanov. Her father, Nuraddin Ramazanov, was an employee of the Ministry of Culture and voluntarily joined the front during the First Karabakh War, where he was martyred in the battles of the Qubadli and Lachin regions.

Leyla received her primary education at the 132-134 Education Complex and later pursued higher education at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, specializing in International Economic Relations. She then completed her second higher education at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Faculty of Musical Arts.

Artistic Career

On June 1, International Children’s Day, Leyla Ramazanli performed in front of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and sang at events attended by him. She participated in Turkey’s April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day Festival, where she met the President of Turkey, Süleyman Demirel, and was awarded honorary certificates.

From a young age, she showed a keen interest in the arts, attending dance, piano, painting, and vocal classes at the Tofiq Ismayilov Children’s Creativity Palace as part of the “Cücələrim” (Cucalarim) ensemble. Her first stage performance was at the age of three at the Heydar Aliyev Palace, where she sang the song “Cücələrim” (Cucalarim). With the ensemble, she represented Azerbaijan in countries such as France, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Brazil, Cyprus, Russia, and others.

She began her musical career at the age of seven by performing a song composed by Eldar Mansurov. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with composers such as Vahid Aziz, Baba Vəziroğlu, Faiq Sücəddinov (Faiq Sucaddinov), Nadir Əzimov, Naile and Hikmat Mirmammadli, and Elchin İmanov.

Leyla Ramazanli also hosted children’s programs such as “Sehirli Güzgü” and “Pəncərə” on Azerbaijan State Television. She has represented Azerbaijan at numerous international festivals and has been awarded laureate titles.

Throughout her career, she has received prestigious awards, including “Singer of the Year,” “Grand Prix” (for the song “Qələbə” performed at the Heydar Aliyev Palace), “Music Video of the Year,” and “Song of the Year.” In 2012, she performed in a concert at Buta Palace alongside Turkish singer Emre Aydın.
